Adoption Process

Thank you for your interest in adopting a Greyed A Greyhound. Each of our dogs are carefully screened upon intake for health issues and temperament. Dogs taken in by Greyed A are fully vetted before becoming "adoption ready." This includes:

• spay or neuter
• dental cleaning
• up to date vaccinations
• testing for all parasites, including heartworms, treatment if needed
• microchip

Once you have decided you would like to adopt from us, you should fill out our adoption application as completely as possible*.  This will help us to find a better match for you and your family.

After your application is submitted, one of our representatives will contact you in order to set up a home visit. Home visits help us to weed out potential issues and will further assist us in finding the right pet for you.

After the home visit is complete, we can set up a time for you to come and meet our adoptable dogs. 

Our adoption fee is currently $250.00, which includes a tag collar, rabies tag, and OF COURSE, your fully vetted new best friend! :)
